This is probably the most magical thing you’ll see all week. Last year I posted GenRocks’ Filmography of 2010. I was so impressed with how she put 270 movies into a cohesive, emotional and musical story of 6 minutes. And so were 2 million other viewers.
I just remembered her and searched for a possible Filmography of 2011 by her on YouTube and what do you know.. here it is. CHECK IT OUT.
This is what YouTube is all about. Also peep Pogo who does similar but more complex remixing.
Pogo is someone I look at with the fullest admiration. His ability to take movie sound bites, and throw them into a cohesive song with a remarkably edited video, is amazing. I wish I could post all of his videos, but you’ll have to check out his channel here : http://www.youtube.com/user/fagottron
This is a video he did for his mother of all the sounds in her garden. I recommend checking out Toys Noize which is based on Toy Story, and well, the rest of them.
